"My horse, Lucy, was having problems
swaying in her stops. James gave her his Total Body Treatment and
found problems in her neck and hips. After correcting this, we went
to the next show where Lucy improved her score from a previous 64 to a
more winning 68.5 performance points!"
James regularly works on Lucy and other
reining horse champions and young hopefuls.

"Lucy On A Roll"
Thanks to James and his continued Total
Body Massage technique, my Lucy keeps improving her reining horse abilities
and performance. Notice the improvement in Lucy's head and neck position,
front end, and look at that rear slide and the dirt fly!

As a veterinarian I understand the
vital role that pain can play in an animal’s well being and attitude. If
a critter is out of alignment they will be in pain- James has treated my
beautiful MFT Nikki with awesome results. Nikki of course is now in love
with her angel James. As a horse owner I have seen the miracle of my horse
being returned to full health and enjoyment of life thanks to James skill
and abilities. I am the 8th owner of Nikki and I wonder if she wasn't passed
from owner to owner due to some “issues” whereas she had really simply
been in pain.
30 minutes of work with James wiped
out what was likely years of undiagnosed and untreated pain
for my horse.
As a veterinarian I see a professional
with wonderful skills in acupressure, massage and chiropractic and spinal
alignment that is an essential part of the well being of animals. I will
continue to use James’ service for my own horses and dogs as well
as refer him for my patients.

"I acquired DC after the previous owners
had given up on his halter performance level. When James first saw
DC, he was in terrible pain all over his body with a limp in his right
hip---definitely not show material. With only two treatments from
James and his Total Body Therapy, DC has once again proven himself to be
in the winner's circle. This picture was taken about 3 weeks ago
at a show in Murfreesboro. He's doing great and still sound.
All thanks to you, James. I hope to send him to the trainer by August
to get ready for the Congress."

To Whom It May Concern:
During
the process of training a horse, it’s common to find resistance. If I have
any questions, as to whether I’m dealing with a “brat” issue or a “back”
issue, I call James. I’ve never been disappointed. He has excellent “bedside
manners” with horses and his knowledge always puts me on the right trail.
Without hesitation, I recommend James Funk for any horse chiropractic/massage
therapy concerns you might have.

Hello James,
I just wanted to get back with you about our massage session and let you
know how my horses are. I am SO PLEASED with what we did.
Charm is doing much better. The week after the massage he put on probably
40 or 50 lbs! It was quite noticeable in his hindquarters and happened
quite fast. He also is moving much better and was just moving beautifully
when we finally rode him for the first time afterwards.
Patches seems to also have benefited from this. I have been trying to transition
her feet to barefoot for a very long time and thought due to her age, we
had just gotten as far as her foot could go which left her with not quite
a perfect foot. I just trimmed her again yesterday since you had been here
and OMG, her foot has totally transformed. She is toe flicking sound, her
frogs are perfect now and the angle has improved! More progress in two
weeks that the last 3 months and I have done nothing differently except
have her adjusted.
I just
thought you might like to know :) and I also wanted to thank you for the
card. It was very thoughtful of you :)

In dressage it is
essential that a horse be relaxed and able to bend and flex when asked.
James Funk has been a great asset in keeping Metron's body healthy so he
can enjoy his work. Thanks James!

James:
Thanks so much for your great therapy
work with my horses. I’m just delighted that you are working in our
area now.
Your work has been particularly helpful
with my 15 year old spotted horse. As you know, he had a torn groin
muscle several years ago and carried his tail off to the left thereafter.
He had been treated by other therapists but had no detectable change.
After your acupressure and adjustment, he carried his tail straight and
was much more relaxed under saddle. When I rode him later he walked
steady and square and covered a lot of ground smooth and willing.
Additionally, my little sorrel walking
mare is noticeably better under saddle after your treatment. She
is definitely more flexible and her timing and head-shake are much more
consistent. She was better than ever when I asked her to pick up
and walk out. She was light on the bit and easy off my leg.
Just wonderful.
After your work on my friend’s 28 year
old retired dressage horse, he went out to play in the paddock. He
threw a very respectable buck and came across the paddock with nearly his
old floating trot. I’m sure you’ll be seeing him again!
These comfortable, happy horses make
the Tennessee trails a pleasure for both horses and riders. I’ve
recommended you to all my horse owner friends. Thanks again.
See you soon.
